We recently purchased the Zirkon 7 light tent with Comfort liner. We modified the tent by installing a stove jack so we can use a stove pipe without a heat shield but we used a heat shield as well to be extra safe. We took the tent on one overnight trip and another 4 night trip in northern Canada where the temperatures dropped below -30 Celsius at night. We were skiing and hauling our loads on sleds behind us so weight was a big consideration. The tent and liner performed very well, no condensation problems and it set up quickly with ice screws that we purchased separately. The ability to have a stove to provide heat in the morning and evening made a huge difference for us. Another party of friends did the same route as our 4 night trip without a hot tent and while they traveled faster they were cold for most of the trip and we arrived in much better shape because we could warm up in the morning and evening. We were able to leave the inner tent attached for packing which was fantastic.

more room with less weight. the efficiency of a mountain tent with the fun of a clubhouse, what is not to like? i set it up in 30 mph. winds by myself on the day i got it without any problems. was impressed by the extra guy lines and how stable and quiet they made the tent. i got the zircon 7 light in the rust red color. everyone on line seemed to recommend the heavier material. but the lightness of weight (for packing a single pack horse) lets me carry this tent and a small titanium stove for about the weight of the canvas tent alone. time will tell in terms of durability but it sure feels like i have made the right choice for me.
